Daylilies on Swearing Creek

Lawrence. This one is definitely headed to registration in 2011. It is a deep red pinched Unusual Form with 6" blooms on 29" scapes. It boasts 22 buds on five branches. There is a slightly darker, almost maroon watermark above a yellow throat. The pencil edges on the often recurved petals match the color of the watermark, with white edging on the sepals. The performance of this cultivar's petals is absolutely unpredictable. (FLAMING FIREBIRD X DERRICK CANE)
